Made with recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the new 24-ounce, 32-ounce and 1-gallon bottles divert recycled plastic from landfills, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and alleviate the environmental impact of drilling for virgin petroleum.  

Berry recently launched reusable SuperCup has been selected by Meduz, a successful craft brewery in southern France, for use at all types of festive events to ensure a quality cup for the company’s quality beer.  

In a presidential decree published in the Jornal de Angola, João Lourenço explained that there are "worrying levels of pollution resulting from the use of plastic in general".

To hasten the fight against plastic wastes president  Lourenço has established a working group to draft a national plan to ban plastic.

The text specifies that the working group will initially be responsible for carrying out a national diagnosis to "measure the state of pollution" in the country.

This collaboration with Ecolab is an excellent example of a value chain partnership aimed at enabling circularity for highly technical applications and it fully contributes to our ambition of producing 30% circular polymers by 2030,” says Olivier Greiner of TotalEnergies.

Refillable and reusable packaging is a growing trend in the Consumer Packaged Goods space, both for direct-to-consumer companies and for those large brands primarily selling their products at retail. Thus far, many of these products have followed the Refill-at-home model, with the majority comprising products in the household cleaning and personal care markets.

Lubrication technology firm Mobil has announced a new initiative to support sustainable packaging by unveiling its 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic pails.

According to the US-based firm, the pails aim to help customers decrease waste, turn waste into value and advance sustainability goals.

The 50% PCR pails are said to be the first pails packing for lubricating oils in India. The PCR pails promote the use of recycled plastic, which contributes to a decrease in plastic waste and promotes sustainable development.
