Live at interpack: SEA Vision Displays New AI-powered Technologies

At interpack, SEA Vision Group is showing the public the work of recent years in terms of the evolution of technologies for the company’s three business divisions: machine vision, traceability, and process automation.

In traceability, the main focus will be on the blister track & trace software (installed on a Marchesini Group blister packaging line) performing the in-line printing of serialized artworks on primary packaging, together with complete aggregation up to pallet level.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says the goal of the DSCSA is “to build an electronic, interoperable system to identify and trace certain prescription drugs as they are distributed in the United States.”

The DSCSA “will enhance FDA’s ability to help protect consumers from exposure to drugs that may be counterfeit, stolen, contaminated, or otherwise harmful” and “improve detection and removal of potentially dangerous drugs from the drug supply chain to protect U.S. consumers.”
