This is thanks to e-WAK®, Guala Closures’ award-winning, first NFC-integrated aluminium closure for wine. 

With the growth of online shopping comes new opportunities for the consumer packaged goods industry. The food industry, in particular, is likely to see substantial growth as consumers are starting to purchase more packaged food products online—a departure from the past when online purchasing was generally limited to non-consumable items. This creates added pressure for these brands to implement more effective and efficient packaging for the rigorous e-commerce supply chain.

With initial collaboration between Braskem and ALM beginning in 2018, the partnership focuses on the development of innovative polyolefin-based powders for Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) powder-bed 3D printing. Braskem and ALM expect to introduce their first product collaboration in the first half of 2020 -- a new polypropylene (PP) powder for SLS.

“There was a demand for something radically distinctive in aseptic packaging,” said Ashwani Sharma, chief executive and president of Uflex’s aseptic liquid packaging business. “Our newest concept of aesthetic rejuvenation brings to the table a variety of options like foil-stamping, holography and 3D effects to communicate with end-consumers better, when the packs are on shelves.”

The new HOTBIN Mini is a slimline hot composter suited for modern gardens which are short on space. Reaching temperatures of 40-60c, the HOTBIN Mini can compost all food and garden waste including cooked food, small bones and perennial weeds recycling it into rich compost in a matter of 30-90 days.
