Olmuksan is a leading and well-established corrugated packaging player in Turkey, listed on the Istanbul stock exchange. Solution: The ((rfid))-DistaFerr ESD with its flexible structure is suitable for use on assembly components and containers or production trays made of ESD plastics. Even in small sizes the label offers excellent reading ranges of about two meters. Made from special materials, the ((rfid))-DistaFerr ESD is weather-resistant and withstands exposure to aggressive substances and cleaning processes. The label is suitable for on-site programming and printing by thermal transfer printer.

Unilever has joined forces with the Alibaba Group to launch the country’s first large-scale closed-loop plastic recycling system.

The joint initiative called Waste-Free World is part of Unilever’s drive to tackle the root cause of plastic waste and think differently about packaging.

Unilever has set a goal to halve their use of virgin plastic, cut plastic packaging by more than 100,000 tonnes and accelerate the use of recycled plastic by 2025.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to finalize the draft Food Safety and Standards (Packaging) Amendment Regulations, 2020 within three months.

The green panel also directed the concerned authorities to consider the issue of the use of plastic bottles and multi-layered plastic packages for packaging of carbonated soft drinks, liquor and other items.
