The cardboard milk carton is a well-known classic in several countries and while the packaging has undergone several transformations over the years and is now a near-optimal choice in terms of food safety and sustainability, the time has come to completely rethink a small yet significant part; the cap.

Plastic packaging for fresh fruits and vegetables will be banned from January 1 in France as the country phases out single-use plastic. Fresh food producers say, however, that they aren't ready yet as little alternative has been found to replace plastic packaging.

On Earth Day 2023, here's presenting the Aashirvaad Organic Atta in a new paper-based packaging to help consumers take a step towards a sustainable lifestyle. The new packaging also includes a unique QR code to enhance sourcing traceability, and enables consumers to track the product to the group of farmers from whom the organic raw materials were sourced. Notably, the Aashirvaad Organic Atta is certified organic as per the National Programme for Organic Production of India and as per the National Organic Program of the US.

The reservation norms in present proposal would further protect the interest of domestic production of raw jute and jute packaging material in India, thereby, making India self-reliant in consonance with Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
