Absolut Vodka launches orange peel shot flavour in China

09 Mar 2024
PC Correspondent

The vodka brand has announced orange peel as its latest flavour, which will be the third product in its Nights shots range.

Absolut has said the range is influenced by local cultures and flavours, and the latest Chinese-inspired launch follows on from the brand’s Mexican-inspired Smoky Piña and Scandinavian-influenced Nordic Spice released last year.

Absolut Nights Orange Peel is launching in China on 30 March. The flavour profile of the new spirit, which is designed to be consumed as a shot, is inspired by Chenpi, a Chinese dried orange rind, blended with coffee.

Ishida launches compact casepacker to boost speed & quality for snacks packing

The company says the ACP-722 RRP offers one of the smallest footprints currently available, being up to 50% smaller than equivalent casepacker models.

The single directional flow design produces a ‘lean and compact’ line layout which can also accommodate twin lines, with top speed of 20 cases per minute.

Key to the machine’s small size is the combination of case infeed and alignment, bag sorting and packing as well as case closing and sealing in one single compact unit, removing the need for additional conveyors.
