Now Government of India has allowed FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) for retailing. So we may see Walmarts of the world coming to India and adding to more organized trade in India. Different people have different opinions about it. Some say it would be good for Indian consumers and some say Indian farmers will lose to multinational companies. Government says that they are taking sufficient measures so that Indian consumers can really benefit. But from packaging point of view, I think it would add the great values.
