Packaging for Industrial Pumps

The universal box protects pumps with various functions connected with drinking water, heating, ventilation and wastewater disposal. Idea for this pack originates from Heinz Störi, was developed for BIRAL AG, which belongs to the Grundfos Group, a world-leading company in the field of pump production. In contrast to other types of industrial packaging, which is used to protect the contents of  foamed materials, the Universal Box is made entirely of corrugated cardboard, which is 100% recyclable and is therefore much more sustainable. Only three parts make it much more flexible and cost-effective. Smurfit Kappa was the winner of Swiss pack 2017 in the construction category.
