Bottom-gusset and flat-bottom stand-up pouches engineered for barrier, print standout, and consistent shelf posture — from first sample to full production run.

A stand-up pouch is a flexible pack with a bottom gusset (or a fully flat base in a box-pouch/doypack format) that lets it stand upright on a shelf without a secondary carton. It gives brands a large, uninterrupted front panel for print — closer to a mini billboard than a bag — while staying lighter and cheaper to ship than rigid containers.
Stand-up pouches are the default format for cereals and granola, dry fruits and nuts, pet food, nutraceutical and protein powders, ground coffee, and a wide range of personal-care and household refill products. They're commonly specified with a zipper for reclosability or a spout for pourable and liquid products — see our dedicated zipper pouch and spout pouch pages for those variants.
Because the pouch stands on its own, shelf presentation depends heavily on gusset engineering and film stiffness — get either wrong and the pack leans, bulges, or won't stack cleanly in a retail case.
Shelf presence only matters if the pack survives transit and holds its posture on arrival.
Stand-up pouches are unforgiving of poor gusset engineering — our in-house pouching line exists to control exactly that variable.
Stand-up pouches cost more per unit than flat formats — here's where that premium pays for itself.
