Application
Where it is used
An IV bag must carry the product name, the marketing-authorisation holder, the manufacturer, volume and composition, plus variable data such as batch number and expiry date. Misreading any of it can harm a patient, so the print must be flawless.
On the bag-making line, printing happens first, before welding and filling. An engraved plate stamps the foil and transfers the ink to the film at high temperature.
