Californian wine brand Böen, part of Copper Cane Wines & Provisions by Joseph Wagner, announces itself as the first United States wine brand to deploy Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology to date.

Tetra Pak has have started field testing​ its paper straws for beverage products in Europe. The move means Tetra Pak is the first carton packaging company to provide such straws for beverage cartons in the region.

The new Glenfiddich bottle has been designed to emphasise the brand’s special provenance and unique heritage, taking cues from its origins in the Valley of the Deer. The triangular bottle design includes a dramatic ‘V’ shape cut into the glass, framing the brand’s stag logo, plus shoulder embossing and new red tab neck labelling.
