Three competitions, 4352 submissions and 75 iF gold awards: in the year of its 60th anniversary the iF design awards reach more partici- pants and submissions than ever before.
This year 49 international experts discussed 4,352 entries by 1,920 participants from 51 countries. The iF product design award 2013, the iF communication design award 2013 and the iF packaging design award 2013 were assessed by the jury. Of the en- tries that received awards from the jury, 75 will be honored with an iF gold award on 22 February 2013 at BMW World in Munich.
“The iF design awards has long since belonged to the most international and highly regarded design competitions in the world,” commented the jury. “What began in the 1950s as a display of products for convention participants, draws from 51 countries submissions that are rich in quality and at the highest level of design,” remarked the experts who made up the jury that decided the 60th iF awards in its anniversary year.
