Diploma in Materials Management from Annamalai University -Chennai (TN) • MBA from Alagappa university ( Under study) Key Responsibilities • To monitor timelines and co-ordinate with internal and external departments for smooth execution of exhibit batches and packaging related projects and product launches. • Ensure smooth execution of Exhibit batches and filings for US and Europe markets. • Ensure smooth execution of US & Europe commercialization’s.. • Coordination’s with US customers like Apotex, Teva, Northstar, Karalax and Europe customers like Hospira, Teva etc for all related packaging design and developments. • Trade dress preparations as per customer requirements • Innovator’s sample packs analysis to perform materials used for the pack. • To ensure the proper documentation in place i.e. to generate specifications, Trade dresses , BOMQ’s BPR’s , standard packing guidelines & standard operating procedures of packing materials • To conduct the cost reduction studies on Primary, Secondary & Tertiary packaging. • To attend the new products package designing. • To study on new packaging component and specification and developments. • To evaluate individual packaging component specifications and respective standard testing methods for the procurement of packaging materials. • To attend for on-line production packing problems. • To design tertiary packaging and Palletisation for US / EU markets • Continues support to F&D, RA & QA for filing ANDA/MHRA products • Maintain a close liaison with RA, QA/QC / Marketing / Planning / Production / MIS & Other depts. • To attend the regulatory queries which are received from FDA thru RA. • To monitor the designing of artworks for all printed packing materials • To ensure all MVTR’s studies in place for all container , closures and all foil and films. • To ensure the total DMF data available for all related Packaging materials • Recruitment and training the packaging personnel to take care of different market requirements. ________________________________________________________________ Packaging Projects • Working on implementation of alternative vendors for all primary packaging materials like HDPE containers, caps, glass bottles, vials, stoppers , flip off seals , • Standardization on Palletisation for export thru sea and air. • The exports packaging initiated for all countries at DRL • Worked on several cost reduction projects along with R&D team members. • Standardization of all packaging change parts to reduce no of blister sizes to have uniform carton and shipper sizes and to have common foil/ films widths. • Involved for new packaging set up for new plants for machinery planning etc. • Implemented auto cartooning lines for injectable mono cartons etc. • Worked on CRC blister packs for US markets. ________________________________________________________________ Projects on hand : • Automation of multi vial packing on - on line. • Development of primary packaging for Japan markets. • Development of peel push foils for CR blisters packs for US -markets. • Development CE marked dispensers for Europe markets for Dry powder susps. • Double-layered labels for multilingual vial labels for injectables. • Self-hanger labels for injectables. • Development of non-DMF materials for Europe market. • Development of Braille language on labels. Achievements: • Contributed from Packaging for 64 ANDA filing and 45 MHRA filing. • Achieved cost saving by rationalizing the Packaging materials i.e. containers, canisters, Foils, films, vials, cartons, CB boxes implementation of alternative vendors from indigenous source etc. • Established the full pledged Packaging development dept in Orchid to take care of all regulated & non regulated market requirements. • Implemented good packaging vendors to take care of all Orchid packaging requirements. • Implemented alternative vendors for US exports and cost saving around 2.0 crores on the same. • Received appreciation letter from MD of Dr.Reddys labs Ltd., for alternative packaging for Physician’s samples and huge cost savings.
