The Manager, New Packaging Technologies will lead the packaging department's effort to investigate new packaging materials and components; work with Operations to research new packaging equipment; and be the focal point for Global harmonization of packaging material specifications and validation requirements with the company's European Packaging Department. REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, development and testing of sterile packaging in an FDA-regulated industry. Experience with non-metallic products a must .BS in Package Engineering (or equivalent degree) required. Masters Degree preferred. FDA Regulated industries can include: Food & Beverage, Medical Device / Disposables, some Consumer Goods, and Over The Counter Drugs / Pharmaceuticals. Prescription Pharmaceuticals would be a bad fit due to its slower product development life-cycle.Thorough knowledge of FDA Design Control regulations.Prior project management and supervisory experience required.Knowledge of CAD software.
