“In Packaging Industry, we require linkages among unorganized sector”
PackagingConnections: What is your educational background? How did you get involved in the Packaging industry?
Mr. Baral: I had done B Tech & M Tech in Printing Technology. Later did MBA in HR. Printing & Packaging field always go hand in hand, so I always was connected to Packaging Industry.
PackagingConnections:Your key activities at work? What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Mr. Baral: Currently I am handling Printing dept of GJU, Hissar. Most rewarding part of my work is that I keep on encouraging students & give them all the opportunity required to show their creativity.
PackagingConnections: The most prestigious awards you have received? And the awards which meant the most to you.
Mr. Baral: My award is when I see my student getting good placement in Industry and utilizing the knowledge they had gained here.
PackagingConnections: Your key achievements? Have you, or your organization, been recognized in any way for your great work?
Mr. Baral: Our key achievement is the placement of students in India & Abroad which creating the BRAND of GJUS&T.
PackagingConnections: What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Mr. Baral: Sacrifice my Family time for the dept. But today I would say that these sacrifices are fruitful when I see the success of GJUS&T.
PackagingConnections: What is one thing about the industry that you would change?
Mr. Baral:Linkage among the unorganized sector.
PackagingConnections: Where do you see the packaging industry in next 5 years?
Mr. Baral: Packaging Sector is growing at an exponential rate and I see that it will keep on growing like this as the people lifestyle is changing continuously and Packaging will play a key role in their day today life.

Mr. Baral: Research Activities in thrust areas of Packaging.
PackagingConnections: What has been your biggest challenge? How did you overcome?
Mr. Baral: Motivating Students to excel in the field.
