Degill international corp., Taiwan based packaging design and manufacturer, has been awarded high honor in 22nd global DuPont Awards for Packaging Innovation for the "2-in-1 EZ Fusion Vial". The news had released on May 25, 2010 in Wilmington, Delaware USA. EZ Fusion vial won Gold Award out from 160 entrants around the world in the competition by the performance of its breakthrough innovation and sustainability appeal.

 

The EZ Fusion 2 in1 vial dispenser is able to store the medication and water for injection (WFI) separately into upper and bottom air- tight chambers. By the simple mixture function, twist the cap, allows the interflow of 2 contents, and it’s ready for injection. The most breakthrough point of EZ Fusion’s innovation is unique tamper-evident design protects pharmaceutical manufacturers from counterfeiting problem.

 

In addition to the anti-counterfeiting, 2-in-1 EZ Fusion made from degradable HDPE and PP is a lightweight material compare with glass vial can save more delivery cost and maximize transportation safety by its durability. The EZ Fusion vial transform 2 vials into a single vial will reduce over-packaging issue. Most importantly, the EZ Fusion vial dispenser can reduce the risk of cross-contamination caused by multi-dose vials applied.

 

The DuPont Awards for Packaging Innovation is the industry’s longest-running, independently judged global awards program honoring packaging materials, technology and service Innovations. All the entrants will be evaluated base on excellence in innovation, sustainability and cost/waste reduction by a prestigious independent panel of leading international experts, representatives of a variety of industries and academia.
